Inaugural CannaHealth Forum
Join us at our inaugural CannaHealth Forum, presented by Coast Drive Management, and sponsored by Myriam's Hope , Veda Chews , and Flow Kana with the support of the San Diego Cannabis Delivery Alliance & the San Diego Chapter of Americans for Safe Access.
Cannabis has a long history of use for treating pain and modern research has supported this therapeutic effect. The opioid “epidemic” is touching many lives, as opioids are involved in 3 out of 5 drug-related deaths.
There is a lot of information circulating around the topic of cannabis as a substitute for prescription drugs. Opiate users may be interested in the role of cannabis for discontinuing opiates use.
This forum will be a discussion on how cannabis may be an adjunctive pain reliever, what cannabis and opiates have in common, how they differ, and how pain doctors and naturopathic doctors are working together to provide alternatives for those who would like to decrease opioid use and increase quality of life.
The CannaHealth Forum will address these topics in detail, providing background and evidence for cannabis use and discussion by two local doctors who incorporate this into their clinical practice.
